Traxettle helps users split expenses and settle payments with event participants. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your choices.

Camera and Photo Access

Traxettle may request access to your device camera and photo library to let you attach payment proof images (for example, receipts or screenshots) during settlement flows.

• We access the camera only when you choose to capture an image.
• We access the photo library only when you choose to upload an existing image.
• This access is optional and user-initiated.
• We do not use camera or photo access for advertising.
• We do not continuously access camera or photos in the background.

What Data We Collect

• Account information (for example, email and display name).
• Event, expense, participant, and settlement data you create in the app.
• Payment proof images and related metadata when you upload them.
• Settlement reference details you provide (for example, UTR/transaction/reference ID).

How We Use Data

• Provide app functionality (expense splitting and settlement workflows).
• Enable settlement verification and audit timeline visibility for participants.
• Improve reliability, security, and fraud prevention.
• Send operational notifications related to events and settlements.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal data. Data is shared only with relevant event participants and with service providers needed to operate Traxettle (for example, cloud hosting, storage, and analytics/infrastructure providers).

Data Retention and Deletion

We retain data as needed to provide the service and comply with legal and operational requirements. You may request deletion of account-linked data by contacting support.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards. Data is transmitted over encrypted channels (HTTPS/TLS).

Children

Traxettle is not directed to children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction).
